Good priced hotel near UNLV

Liked: We came into town for a UNLV baseball game, so the location was convenient for us. It's within walking distance of the strip if that is your primary purpose of the visit. I actually like that it isn't a huge hotel. The rooms are divided within several small buildings so the hallways are short and there aren't that many rooms per floor. I liked the ease of getting outside and hanging out at the pool cabana. The bed was super comfortable and the bathrooms were recently renovated. The shower was probably the best water pressure ever of any hotel shower!
Disliked: The hotel is going through renovations, so I would say next year, this place will be very, very nice. But to rate as of now...Gym - no hand wipes or dirty towels binSecurity - no locks on individual buildings. Anyone could walk in Bathroom - need to install towel racks closer to the shower Room safe - only worked after a minimum of 3 tries Pool - dust off the couches in the cabanas

Liked: Clean facility, comfortable bed, large room with foldout couch and sliding door that goes out to the lawn area.Free coffee all day, free parking, Reasonable rates, all you can eat breakfast for $15.99It is close to the airport so lots of flyover noise.

Liked: I did not stay at the hotel, due to security issues and odor in hotel.
Disliked: There were non guests in the hallways that were putting flyers on all the doors.

Great value if you're looking...

Liked: This is a good small hotel very close to all the action in Las Vegas. I loved the fact that neither the lobby nor the room had the smoking smell that the big hotels in the area had. Also, it's a quiet hotel which was perfect for me as I had a long layover before catching the second leg of my flight. The bed was comfortable and the room had everything that I needed for my short stay. My one comment is that the lobby and room furniture looked a bit dated, but not a deal breaker for another stay at this hotel.

Liked: I loved it the rooms, location, cleanliness, and welcoming of the staff.
Disliked: I did not like the fact that the pool was not available. It was our get a way for our family and we were just stuck in the room and the kids wanted to use the pool.
