Serafino McLaren Vale is located in the heart of the McLaren Vale wine region only 26 mi from the Adelaide CBD (Central Business District). Set among impressive vines 200-year-old gum trees and in front of a tranquil lake the hotel shares its grounds with Serafino Wines & Cellar Door where guests can sample the latest Serafino wines. The hotel features free WiFi an outdoor solar heated swimming pool and has private parking available on site. At Serafino Restaurant guests can select from an extensive menu with a focus on local and seasonal produce. Each spacious room at Serafino McLaren Vale has high ceilings air-conditioning a flat screen TV and private bathroom with several rooms including a spa bath. Tea and coffee making facilities and a mini-bar are also available in the rooms. All rooms have views overlooking the swimming pool and the old gum trees. Large, clean and tidy rooms.

Liked: Large, clean and tidy rooms.
Disliked: Our wine tasting experience wasn't great as the staff gave the impression that they didn't want to be there. Whilst our waiter in the restaurant was fantastic the food was underwhelming.

Overall very enjoyable

Liked: Nice scenery , loved the pool .
Disliked: They took too long to return deposit.they say it's out of their control but I think they do it on purpose. And pool should have more depth marked in middle of pool , I am six foot seven , and was out of my depth. Very quickly.

Liked: Location is brilliant, on the shiraz trail and there are bikes to hire on site. Grounds are beautiful. Bed is comfortable.
Disliked: Cleanliness isn't up to par for price - it's not bad just not spotless, rooms are dated.
