Liked: Nice but to much tight

Warm and welcoming stay at...

Liked: It is more of a hostel than a hotel but it’s not a party hostel which is nice! We are a couple in our 30s and stayed in a private room for a cheapish break on our road trip. The staff and everyone staying there are really friendly. It’s got a really chilled welcoming vibe for everyone. The age range mixed from people in their 20s to people in their 60s. Many people are heading to work from the hotel. There is plenty of space to work, chill, play pool, watch TV etc. so it doesn’t feel cramped or like you living on top of people. Our room was comfy and clean. We really enjoyed this stay.
Disliked: The kitchen could be a little dirty or messy as it’s well used. There isn’t much worktop space in the kitchen so at busy times you’d have to wait until it emptied.

Liked: Roamer St Kilda was a fab stay, the beds are private in large rooms, the women’s bathroom/shower rooms on the first floor were stunning - clean, well looked after and the most powerful showers ever. I was greeted by a lovely English girl at check in and people in between were very helpful and kind. Great location, a 1 min walk to the tram stop and a short walk to St Kilda beach. I loved staying here and would highly recommend!!

Old fashioned style, needs improvement...

Liked: Nice wooden floors, a nostalgic feeling comes over when you walk in. Comfortable and stable bunk beds. Really powerful shower which helped relieve a headache a bit. Also a pretty nice design of the shower room. I only. stayed overnight, so it was nice enough for that.
Disliked: Can't lock the locker in the room above the bunk bed! The check-in was at 3pm and I had to leave my backpack in an unsecured area near reception while I went away and did stuff before coming back to check-in.

Simply Awesome

Liked: Overall, EVERYTHING! The service, the kindness, the facilities, the beds—in short, everything was very, very good! I would stay there again.
