Good value, great location and...

Liked: Really good location, easy to get around or to a train station with tram/metro links. Near to the Time Out market for food and other great bars, restaurants and coffee shops. It was quirkily decorated, with communal kitchen areas, a restaurant/bar area and lounge areas which doubled up as working spaces. There was ‘trendy vibe’ about the place, with lots of backpackers and people from all over mingling.Reasonably priced.
Disliked: Our room was an odd shape and there was really limited storage - we only had one open wardrobe ( like a temporary one with no drawers). The bathroom was quite small - especially the shower which was a little cubicle. They definitely could have used some mould and mildew remover in there! There was no air conditioning, but a fan was supplied and there were 2 windows in our room. The windows were the multiple open style ones (push the handle one way and it opens at the top, turn it another and it opens like a door) and we were on the fourth floor. The windows opened all the way like a door with a sheer drop to the street underneath - not especially safe and definitely not recommended for families with younger children. The curtains over the windows also wouldn’t draw back properly, meaning the window got caught on them.There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, which would have been nice, however on the day we were checking out a mass delivery of nespresso machines arrived so this may have been something they were upgrading. The outdoor areas really needed some love, especially the swimming pool area - a good clean down and spruce up.

Liked: The hotel is great in terms of aesthetics, cleanliness, and location. They cleaned the rooms every day, it was so comfortable. Also, it is close to all the nice places, tourist attractions, and restaurants.
Disliked: The staff was a bit rude. A few people were kind but the rest was kind of rude. The location is great, ok, but with that price, I expected a great service. Also, at the beginning of April, the weather was cold, my room was cold and there were no heaters. When I asked for it they said the rooms are heated and there is no additional heater, so I basically froze during my stay.

Exceptional

Liked: Excellent location, close to all central attractions. Kind, welcoming staff, great breakfast, and restaurant. Clean with daily housekeeping service. I would definitely recommend this accommodation. They also have cute rooftop and a swimming pool.
Disliked: Everything was perfect.
