Great hotel for a family.

Liked: It was very unfortunate we were unable to make it to breakfast, but I am sure it would have been excellent.We realised we had left something behind when we checked out, but the staff found it and assured us they would keep it until arrangements were made to return it to us.Thank you Sooo much!Staff were friendly and available when we needed anything
Disliked: The room we stayed in was very cold. The temperature outside was -1 degrees Celsius that night, so extra heating was needed.. The room has no air conditioning, only a wall heater, which was not enough to keep the room at a good temperature. Having spoken to the concierge the next morning, they advised that usually they have extra heaters added to the room.I'll keep this in mind prior to booking the next time we are up in Liverpool.

Disliked: The room was double booked. I got notification the day before I arrived to UK that the room was unavailable. However, in fairness The hotel arranged a room for us in a hotel in city center at no extra cost. So that was appreciated

Great stay at Sefton Park...

Liked: Lovely welcome and help with our bags. The manager changed our original room because of the stairs. Comfortable bed. Yorkshire tea provided! Nothing too much trouble. Interesting building with a Beatles connection, with lots of photos and memorabilia. Excellent location just across the road from Sefton Park, and close to a bus stop with a direct bus into the city.
Disliked: We were disappointed that the restaurant wasn't serving dinner, only breakfast. There is a cafe in the park a short walk away. I suggest mugs rather than cups for the tea/coffee in the room.
