Liked: Location of this hotel is excellent and the staff are brilliant
Disliked: Heating was not working. As old building lots of stairs no lift, had room at top of building taking the suitcase up 3 flights of stairs was an issue.

Well located small hotel with...

Liked: The receptionist let us in to our room early as it was ready and we had a time pressure to get to a wedding.The freshly cooked breakfast we ordered was delicious.
Disliked: Nothing.

With a proper double room...

Liked: The staff, the location and the cleanliness.
Disliked: Room 303 was not a double room and at 75 the two flights of stairs are very steep. The room was good for a single but too small as a double.

Avoid, something definitely dodgy going...

Liked: Location was great right opposite Sefton Park, staff were pleasant
Disliked: Big rip in the net curtain in the bedroom. Exposed pipe in bathroom covered by black and yellow tape floor to ceiling. Didn't like not getting my deposit back and being sent proof it had been sent with someone elses card number on, then hotel just ignoring my messages - something dodgy going on here. Exactly the same happened to my daughter and we were there to stay for her wedding. We booked 6 rooms so they got a bit of money from us all together along with drinks from the bar and breakfasts
