Liked: Location was fine, the hotel description was correct. The guy who checked us in was helpful. It’s a no frills 4 star hotel with a spacious room
Disliked: The room was noisy. The water was not hot enough during peak usage times. No bathrobes or slippers

Good for a 3-star hotel,...

Liked: The hotel has indoor parking and is well located in Bordeaux (reasons for booking). The staff was attentive, and the room was ample (actually, too ample). Breakfast was decent.
Disliked: It is never a good sign when they ask you for a deposit, especially in a 4-star hotel - apparently customer trust is something unheard of for this hotel manager (the deposit was returned, 12 hours after check-out). The toilet and the bathroom were separated in my room, meaning that washing your hands meant a trip around the room (?!). There is no regulating the water pressure, it's just an on-off switch, which wouldn't be an issue in a public bathroom, but in a 4-star hotel rom I would expect to be able to tune the whipping I got from the overhead shower.
