Located in a picturesque side-street the family-run Seehotel Schäpfle lies just 98 feet from the Bodensee Lake on the Uberling promenade. Free WiFi is available throughout the 3-star superior hotel. All rooms at Seehotel Schäpfle are individually designed in country-style. They feature a seating area mini-bar a flat-screen TV and have an private bathroom. A breakfast buffet is provided each morning at the lovingly decorated Schäpfle Restaurant. Local cuisine is served at the hotel's dependance Café Anna Restaurant which is located 164 feet from the hotel on the lake promenade. The breakfast buffet takes place directly in the Seehotel; when the weather is nice on our great terrace overlooking the lake. The surrounding countryside of Baden-Württemberg is ideal for hiking and cycling and it is a 8-minute walk to the Bodensee Thermal Spa. Guests can also relax in the hotel sauna while there is a solarium which can be used for an extra fee. Seehotel Schäpfle is a 8-minute walk from Überlingen Train Station and it is a 15-minute drive to the A98 motorway. Parking is available 492 feet away from the hotel (for an extra fee).

Liked: Very quiet, next to the lake ;) great breakfast, great staff :) Close to the Thermal bath & old town
Disliked: Really help to have the fan for the night, no a/c

Location, location!

Liked: This is location, location, location! I was NOT disappointed with this hotel. They are close to the rail station, easy to find and on the waterfront! This was such a lovely place. The reception ladies went out of their way to assist in any request.
Disliked: The bed was hard/firm. We requested a topper pad the next day, and it was done. I'm not sure why they didn't have the pad on anyway.

Beautiful location. No parking

Disliked: The parking arrangements are very clunky. You literally have to abandon your vehicle to get the parking pass from the hotel. It’s irritating when you search booking for hotels with parking when they clearly don’t have any.
