Liked: Perfect situation, stunning views, heavenly staff, amazingly easy to get down to Lynmouth as the funicular was literally outside the garden. Lovely food.

Liked: The hotel hotel was furbished extremely well. The breakfast was excellent with several choices for cooked , as well as continental.
Disliked: We had a room on the second floor and the reception on the tv wasn't very good at all. Some evenings we had difficulty getting any channel at all.

Liked: The hotel is perfect for quality and location the decor is great and rooms are clean,fresh every thing you need is in the room. The staff are very friendly Peter is awesome and the kitchen staff and house keeping are on point it's like going to stay with family warm and welcoming. There is a honesty bar for getting a drink which is well stocked with a variety of drinks also in the guest use kitchen a fridge with wine and beers and lagers. There is a patio area with seating and tables which is great for breakfast or dinner depending on the weather or just for drinks while the sun goes down and it's also well lite and there is a jacuzzi. Location fantastic walk out the driveway turn left path leads to coastal path to The valley of the rocks great for walkers or turn right and about 100m either up towards lynton or down towards lynmouth about 1/4 mile walk. But Seawoods little secret walk through the terrace and up the garden and the gate takes you straight to the cliff railway climb aboard and descend 500 feet to lynmouth it's a must do. So I would rate the Seawood a 9.5/10.
