The hotel and Seattle were...

Liked: It was nice in a great location but very overpriced. When we got there we found out that there were:taxes (which we expected), plus a resort tax plus fifty eight dollars to park our car. In the end, unless you don’t care about cost and really need waterfront, I would look elsewhere.

Perfect place for a weekend...

Liked: Room was very clean and modern. View was amazing and the location was perfect. Walkable to all of downtown Seattle.

Liked: Staff shine! From the young men valet-ing our car each day (cheerful, exuberant, efficient, professional!!) to the amazing server a the bar - I wish I hadn't forgotten his name - (just an amazingly efficient, cheerful, thoughtful, knowledgeable man, handling the whole place with ease and professional skill), and the morning server in the restaurant, your staff appeared happy to work where they were, motivated and carried a sense of team-spirit like we had not always seen in other properties.
Disliked: The motion-detector lights in the bathroom and closet. Really annoying for the other person who isn't getting up in the middle of the night. Sudden multiple **bright full-on light** from overhead and wall bulbs invades the entire space. Why not just have one small night-light activated by a motion? Lobby is a bit dated and eclectic in design. Floor tiles have many cracks. But I notice that kind of thing when others might not.
