We enjoyed the area but...

Liked: We did breakfast at multiple restaurants and they were all decent.
Disliked: We were very disappointed in the cleanliness of our room. It was very dirty. The bathroom was very gross. The floors were also very dirty. Our tv didn’t work the best either.

I think this place is...

Liked: We liked the room and it is in a convenient location to catch the trolley from north beach to south beach. The air works so well, it is big and spacious.
Disliked: The bed is very soft and the water faucet inside of the tub was dripping the whole time so we had to keep the door shut. Also, there isn't a smart TV, just a regular tv with a few local channels.

Disliked: I asked them to bring toilet paper which I haven’t got all day. I wanted to talk with manager which is never answered me back. They are working with some of tow companies which is damaged my car. My wife has found dirty underwear from previous customer.

Acceptable but going bad

Liked: Location next to a nice beach with playground and park, big public parking lot with free parking from 11pm to 8am, shops such as market, walgreens, some restaurants. kitchen with stove top, microwave, mini fridge. Spacious room. Comfy beds. Kind reception staff.
Disliked: Nothing way too bad, but definitely not the hotel it used to be and the sum of all the little things gets you a bit annoyed. It needs more maintenance and better cleaning between guests.It's our 4th time here (once per year) and things have changed. They don't store luggage anymore (although they did in the past and I even asked before booking on January 25 and when I arrived on March 1 they told me they couldn't for new policy.... and they blamed booking for answering that with no solution). The room was missing 2 bath towels and 3 glasses, and when I asked for them they only gave me 1 towel and told me to come back later to see if they had one more available. The glasses were meant to be delivered to my room but never did. The only glass that was in the room was dirty from previous guests. The safe box didn't work and made a continuous noise. They sent someone to fix it, though. Cleaning of the floor wasn't great either, we got our feet dirty from walking barefooted. Bathroom was ok, but you had to pay attention to the shower faucet to be tightly closed or it would leak. TV had no signal whatsoever and no smart apps.And one disturbing thing is that they don't have a front spot to park while downloading luggage and checking in. You have to pay for a spot or stop at Collins av doing it really quickly. We could return if it was the only choice, but will be looking for other options in the future.

Disliked: Very messy in terms of where I needed to check in, they sent me to three different buildings a few walks away from one to another, with all my luggage

10/10 don’t recommend

Liked: I liked that the rooms were spacious, and close to the events I was going to
Disliked: First of all the fact that you can’t leave your bags there before check-in is a little sus. we had flown all the way from Las Vegas Nevada to stay there before boarding a cruise and had made plans to do other things expecting we could check our bags before check-in like most hotels do it was very disappointing because we had to cancel our outing because we could not take all of our luggage with us. In addition we have a disabled daughter with a wheelchair. We had a late flight when we checked out and we’re told we could only do a late check out. We asked if we could book the room for another night and they forced us to go to a third-party to do it. They couldn’t just book it there super inconvenient. Also, it is not very quiet as other residents in the hotel were fighting all night long our TV didn’t work appropriately and our neighbors TV was blasting so loud I almost called the cops 10 out of 10 would not recommend this hotel if you have a family or want anything of convenience that you feel that you’re paying for

Exceptional

Liked: Staff and location were great.! Very accommodating on short notice on a busy weekend.! Would stay again.!

Hotel staff ruined our holiday.

Disliked: The staff at the reception was very aggressive. They even felt dangerous. First time I felt insecure in a hotel. We did not get a shuteye due to the water dripping for two nights. They did not solve it and they got progressively more aggressive of us reminding them. During checkout they behaved like they won a victory by keeping us in that room. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Dangerous people are working here.
