Great Stay in Daytona
Liked: It is located on the beach! It had a beachy vibe and was quiet. I loved opening the balcony door and listening to the waves!
Disliked: There was no check in office or staff. We got our information from a cleaning staff member. It seemed impersonal.

Liked: The hotel it's self was perfect very clean nice staff we have no problems with the hotel. The man worker would clean the elevators daily even cleaned the outside of the elevator. The pools was amazing and all rooms had an ocean view we will stay here again. The lady we rented from was amazing the room was very clean. Had everything we needed. Very nice and good people and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you sea dip for our joyful stay.! The best part of this hotel is the Hot water perfect hot water.

Disappointing
Liked: The sunset on the balcony was very beautiful.
Disliked: I booked a stay at Sea Dip Resort Studios as a little getaway for myself, but unfortunately, the experience fell short of my expectations. From the moment I arrived, things felt off. The first thing I saw in the parking lot was a large dead roach—not the best first impression. When I went to check in, the front desk was locked, and no one was there. A cleaner happened to be passing by and told me to email my booking.com reservation. After emailing and calling, I finally received a text response, which was the first indication that I had actually booked through a private owner rather than a traditional hotel. This was not made clear at the time of booking. The check-in process was confusing and required more walking than I had anticipated, which was a challenge due to my mobility issues. I ended up going up the wrong elevator, only to find stairs that connected to another wing of the building. I had to go back down, find the right elevator, and navigate through the property while passing by some rough-looking individuals who made me uncomfortable. By the time I reached my room, I was already exhausted. The room itself was disappointing. The bed was extremely uncomfortable—an old, hard spring mattress that felt cheap and worn. The one highlight was watching the sunset from the balcony, which was beautiful. However, that moment of peace was soon disrupted by motorcycles repeatedly starting and stopping in the parking lot.Ultimately, this was not the relaxing retreat I had hoped for. Between the check-in hassle, the uncomfortable bed, and the overall atmosphere, I decided to leave and drive home rather than stay the night. It was a frustrating experience, and I wouldn’t book here again.

Sea Dip two night stay
Liked: I liked that it was better than expected due to being nervous because of the plethora of negative reviews. Checking in was smooth. The room was cute, clean and comfortable. Bathroom was nice, hot water unlike some reviews, not enough towels but we did bring our own, we also brought our own sheets for the bed. Kitchen was nice but its unfortunate to notice other guests have not taken good care of some of the appliances etc. It did have an ocean view. It was too cold to enjoy the amenities, the outdoor pool is not heated as listed but the indoor pool was nice;however, it opens late and closes really early. It has a really nice game room but everything is over a dollar to play and only takes quarters but no machine to get cash/coins so we didn't get to play as planned. It is a small room but it is obviously an original resort so that is expected. There are people that live there and keep an eye on you so feels safer than some of the other older lodging. We only stayed two nights and were in town for events so didn't spend a lot of time in the room but would definitely stay again.
Disliked: Only 2 handicap spots for parking. Elevator broke but thankfully not when we were bringing luggage up or down. Wish pool would open later and that the game room would have a quarter dispenser. One morning it rained hard and water was coming in from the front door and we did not have a mop and didn't want to ruin the towels cleaning it up because floor was pretty dusty/sandy. No broom either.
