Poor value for money

Liked: Location is great. Short walk to tube. 10 - 15 minute walk to the Eye. Lots of restaurants nearby.
Disliked: Reception desk was inadequately staffed on both checking in and out. Long queue at peak times. One member of staff in duty in the evening and just 2 in the morning. Bed was very soft. Floor in the bathroom was slippery when wet and no mat was provided in the shower. Overall poor value for money.

Disliked: Requested a deluxe river view room on a high floor and was only allocated a 5th floor room (# 533). The hotel had 15 floors.View to the right was obscured by the architecture of the building.No safety mat was provided for the shower room and no handrail fitted to the tiled wall, which was very dangerous, as it was very easy to slip on the wet and soapy floor tiles and is an obvious health and safety issue.

Liked: - Amazing location, next to Tate Modern, Borough Market and South Bank generally.- Incredible setting, even for Londoners, with views over the City.- Very helpful staff- Excellent facilities and decor- Great cocktail bar and restaurant (both are really worth a visit for non-guests too)
Disliked: - Small windows with no view but it was a basic room. The views from elsewhere are amazing.- No do not disturb sign in room. We asked for one a couple of times, but it never arrived.- The lobby cafe is not great to work from, but is fine.
