Liked: Very helpful and friendly staff from check in to dinner and check out. Lovely comfortable room with everything you need. Great bathroom with very refreshing shower!
Disliked: Nothing.

Convienent, clean and comfortable

Liked: Very clean inside and secure over night. Comfortable bed and pillows
Disliked: When we arrived the small radiator was on and it was quite warm in the room. I turned it off and then went for dinner. During the night it was still quite stuffy and even with window opened i just felt like I couldn’t make the room a cooler temperature for sleep.

Great stay, would recommend!

Liked: Great hotel and pub. Clean, comfortable rooms just a few minutes drive from Scone Palace. Food was good (chili chicken!), staff was excellent, and we received a hearty welcome from Daryl, Darren, Marcus, and John. Cheers lads

An enjoyable return trip, and...

Liked: Large comfortable room, with an even larger comfortrable bed.The evening meal in the "pub" was far better than expected.
Disliked: I guess, the parking area is small, but you can park on the road nearby

Nice place to stay but...

Liked: The location was perfect. The room was excellent.
Disliked: The food was not very pleasant. I ordered chicken fajitas, but unfortunately, I was unable to eat my meal and had to return it. The chicken was like rubber and not very warm; it looked and tasted like it had been previously cooked and reheated. There was one piece of onion and two small pieces of peppers. These are the worst fajitas I have ever had. The breakfast was very unpleasant. On arrival at the breakfast room, there was no staff present. The heated server had cooked sausages, bacon, haggis, and potato scones available. There were no eggs or tomatoes. The food was very lukewarm, potato scones looked like they had been deep fried, and they were very burnt. When a staff member eventually appeared we asked for some scrambled eggs, when this eventually arrived it too was very burnt to the extent we thought there was bacon through it. It looked like a burnt chopped-up omelet and was unedible. I had my evening meal replaced with scampi and chips which was satisfactory. The other 3 guests found their evening meals edible.
