Liked: Booked for a local event, what a beautiful old building in gorgeous countryside, but handy for motorway. Our host Karen was lovely and very friendly. The breakfast was superb , will happily return to the Schoolhouse! Jon & Lisa

Liked: The building has some character, unlike the main hotel chains and it’s located in the countryside rather than in an industrial area or by a motorway exit. Parking is ample and free
Disliked: Rooms, furniture and bathrooms are dated but clean and functional

Liked: Very quaint, just needs an awful lot of TLC.Host was very pleasant and obliging.Bed very uncomfortable, but when we raised the issue, our host was only too happy to change the mattress.Hot water was hit and miss.

Liked: Visiting family in nearby Bassett. Quirky but charming place. Excellent breakfast served in our roomTea/coffee making not great as no decaf and one sachet had already been used. I’m sure we would have been supplied with more if we’d asked
