A “fair” experience, perhaps 3...

Liked: The staff who checked us in was kind and helpful. The room was large. Linens were nice - bedding and towels were clean and fluffy. The location is very near the river, which is great.
Disliked: There is NO breakfast. You get a credit toward packaged food that we…won’t eat…which no one is available to provide you anyway. You could not use credit toward a quick protein bar, small container of milk…or anything we’d be interested in. No fruit…nothing fresh. The one staff member there was trying to help with this “food”, check people out AND deal with other guest issues. She was overwhelmed and rightly a bit grumpy. We felt so sorry for her. They have a “bar” with no quality non-alcoholic offerings. We walk stairs…the carpet desperately needed vacuuming. The carpet in our room was quite…dirty. The bathroom was beautiful, but other ares really needed work/replacement/upgrading (carpet, furniture). It’s an extremely noisy location with big trucks using “jake” brakes at 5am. It was a “fair” experience for us, nowhere near the ratings we saw on Booking.com. Check Google for ratings. They are accurate… Darn. We hoped for a romantic night in a corner suite. We love to support city locations…however, this was disappointing.

Liked: Great place to stay. Very clean and staff was very nice. On the down side the parking garage was horrible

Liked: Great location to downtown Morgantown. Expect loud noises outside when the bars empty out around 2am on weekend. Staff was friendly and great.
Disliked: Surprised to be charged for parking given the poor condition of the garage. Lots of rooms still under construction working until 6-7pm.
