Good for once

Liked: Spacious room; good breakfast; vegetarian and vegan options; good spot to go for walks; view is nice; clean; spa is cute; towels and robes without deposit
Disliked: Really old fashioned; as a hotel guest you have to pay min. 24€ for parking (2nights); buffet is 45€/pers. and not worth it (excl. drinks); expensive drinks and a la carte dishes too, but a la carte is more worth it; too many people for that little, but cute Sauna area; outside area is nice, but wasn't prepared for us sauna guests; some of the staff couldn't even understand me talking in german; during check in at the reception no information about hotel, spa, dinner, prices, schedule, location etc.; felt a bit like they are all trainees

Liked: Everything and everyone were perfect: excellent location, easy parking, super friendly staff, comfortable room, great dinner and breakfast and the hotel is dog-friendly on top!
Disliked: Nothing

Locate inside beautiful Bergpark Wilhelmhohe

Liked: great view of palace and Bergpark Wilhelmhohe, really good breakfast and its service staffs, comfy room
Disliked: car park access only from front door so if park behind the hotel will need a bit long walk.

Exceptional

Liked: 1. We booked two rooms. One of the rooms was forgotten in the booking process, but they gave us what was available, which was a huge suite with an amazing window and private entrance.2. I left my wallet in the safe, and they found it, I came back to get it and they gave us the wallet in a sealed bag, you can tell their handling of items is very secure.3. Breakfast was huge and they make the finest and thinnest omelettes that I didn't know were possible.4. Shuttle bus right in front of hotel, so unbelievably convenient.5. Family loved it and kept saying this was the best place out of our entire Germany roadtrip.
Disliked: nothing, it was perfect

Beautiful location

Liked: Location was excellent.
Disliked: Hotel felt a little dated in places! Restaurant staff were good. But had to wait 55 minutes for meals- waitress apologised twice and offered a drink or extra bread, but we were hungry for our meal! She said she did not know why the kitchen had not cooked our meal but the house was full and they were very busy!Person next to us came in afterwards and got their meal in 15 mins! Receptionist did offer free parking as some compensation. But the whole episode spoilt our evening and as we were only staying one night it was not good! Pity!

Liked: Location, staff, pool and outside area. Have stayed a few times before and like this hotel.
Disliked: No air con in our room, but we knew that when we booked.
