Good hotel but a bit...

Liked: Nicely located in the heart of nature, many oportunities for walks, bike rides etc. Superior rooms are spacios, lovely panoramic sauna.

Liked: Excellent location; great restaurant, including breakfast, appreciate dog friendly policy.
Disliked: In less than 24 hrs of my stay I was asked 3 (!) times to fill in my address-?? - last time during the checkout (when the car was loaded and my daughter and dogs were in waiting) even though all my details, including credit card’s had been noted the day before at check in. Also, didn’t like the poor accessibility and a bit dusty corridors of the building where our room was located. Next time I’ll ask for a room in the main building, like during my previous stay

Spa, culture and history combined

Liked: Perfect to combine the cultural and historical tour of Kassel with a bit of a spa. The spa is quite great, especially the panoramic sauna. My masseuse made me fall asleep, predictably.
Disliked: Quite understandable, but you need to book your treatments well in advance. Parking is paid - again, understood. The price is lower than for outsiders though.

Liked: Wellness area was very good, breakfast great! Nice strong shower. Room comfortable.
Disliked: Restaurant on the pricey side, staff could be more attentive.

Liked: Spacious room; good breakfast; vegetarian and vegan options; good spot to go for walks; view is nice; clean; spa is cute; towels and robes without deposit
Disliked: Really old fashioned; as a hotel guest you have to pay min. 24€ for parking (2nights); buffet is 45€/pers. and not worth it (excl. drinks); expensive drinks and a la carte dishes too, but a la carte is more worth it; too many people for that little, but cute Sauna area; outside area is nice, but wasn't prepared for us sauna guests; some of the staff couldn't even understand me talking in german; during check in at the reception no information about hotel, spa, dinner, prices, schedule, location etc.; felt a bit like they are all trainees
