Fantastic service

Liked: I liked the charm of a castle with more modern amenities. Fabulous food but above all things, we're there people that worked there. 2 stand outs where George & Charlotte.

Liked: Beautiful location. Really friendly staff. We were lucky enough to check in an hour early and had an upgrade to a room with a balcony! Spa facilities are fabulous (although no loungers available mid afternoon Sunday when we went to use the spa, I think there were several people on day spa packages?)Complimentary tea and coffee in the bar on arrival was a great touch. And we took it outside to enjoy in the sunshine.The decor in the main bar is lovely and a great location for pre dinner drinks. We found dinner very overpriced for the standard of food. We stayed 2 years ago, just after it had been refurbished. It was great to see everything fully finished eg the outdoor spa area is now all paved/gravel rather than some grass. And the staff are now a lot more experienced and there are more staff. We look forward to staying again in the future.

Liked: Due to an unexpected death in our family SCHLOSS were more than happy to accommodate us to move the date even though we had picked the “non refundable” option. We were able to move the date to when we felt ready to come for the over night stay. Everything was amazing.
