Disliked: My stay at Scandic Victoria was unfortunately uncomfortable, with little to no proper rest. IMPORTANT: This review is not a complaint about the hotel staff. My concerns are about the comfort standards of the hotel itself. Upon arrival (around 14:50), I was assigned a room on the fourth floor with no natural light. After requesting a room with an exterior window, I was immediately reassigned to room 310. Late at night I discovered the heating system was not working. I had to personally carry a portable heater from the lobby to my room. That night, my sleep was disrupted due to poor window insulation, which made the room noisy.On my last night, I was told I was being "rewarded" with an upgraded room on the 9th floor. However, this was the worst night of all. The room (923) was large, had natural light, and was described as "silent" and "luxurious," but in reality, it was NOISY and freezing. The heating system was ineffective, never warming the room to 21.7°C, and the ventilation system was unbearably noisy, I invite to measure the amount of decivels the ventilation systems produces.I am still waiting for the compensation that was promised to me at checkout , but I doubt it will ever come.This is a call for higher standards in line with the hotel's star rating and pricing. Guests—whether they are visiting for work or leisure—deserve the comfort they are paying for. Please ensure that the experience matches the expectations set by the description you provide.

Liked: Breakfast was fantastic.. Room was clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice location.

Disliked: Rooms were tiny for the crazy price we paid. Staff couldn’t really care less about us and there wasn’t really good room service or extra amenities either

Don't waste your money

Liked: Location was decent. However, there was graffiti and garbage all over the place as soon as you exited the hotel.
Disliked: The room was too hot!!! The thermostat was at 24 degrees (C) when we got there and wouldn't go below 22° over the 4 days/ 3 nights we were there. The thermostat setting was set to 19 degrees with the fan on max, but it didn't make a difference. We asked at the front desk for help, and she said to try to reset the thermostat. Otherwise, she couldn't do anything about it. It didn't fix it. We stayed for 3 nights and sweat through our pajamas each night. It was extremely uncomfortable. We had no window to allow air in either. The lady at the buffet entrance is miserable. She couldn't be more unfriendly. Buffet food options themselves were decent but basic.
