Standard double room in the...

Liked: The hotel is located very centrally and is close to a large host of restaurants and cafes. It is also only a short 5 minute walk from Central Station, which is perfect if you're travelling to and fro Malmo. Our booking came with breakfast included. This was provided in a buffet style at the hotel restaurant and had a good variety of assortments, coffee and juices.
Disliked: There wasn't any water or kettle provided in the rooms, but you could purchase water bottles or juices in the hotel lobby.

Liked: The breakfast and placement of the hotel is wonderful. The staff is amazing and is close to the best hotel staff I've met throughout my life, so that is a big plus!
Disliked: The beds are not very comfortable, beds are separated, very annoying to sleep on. Both visits the bathrooms been bad, broken showerheads or broken heating. No room fridge. Our room was also extremely dusty for some reason.

Disliked: Upon check-in, we were told the double room I booked for two adults was only for one adult and we had to pay an extra 600 Swedish krona for the second adult who shared the double bed (my brother's wife). A total of 4 adults was requested during my initial booking.com process and the confirmation email stated "price for 4 adults $XXX". The pdf attached to the email confirmed two rooms with one adult per room, in my brother's name (double room) and my name (twin room). I didn't think to query it at the time as my experience with booking hotel rooms in the past has always included the option of two people per room. Unfortunately we found out at check-in that this hotel has a one person per room policy and if it is more than one person, an extra fee is payable. This was contrary to the confirmation from booking.com that the total price quoted was for 4 adults and was therefore misleading to us. If I had known the price was only for two adults I would not have booked the Scandic Kramer. This situation left a very bad feeling about the booking process and we felt ripped-off as we were forced to pay for the "extra" person in the room. This was not clear at all when I made the booking through booking.com.The room facilities were disappointing, ours had no phone, no kettle or cups to make a cup of tea or coffee, no refrigerator to keep personal drinks cool, not even a bottle of complimentary water and very small TV's in moderate sized rooms.
