Work Trip to Aalborg

Liked: The location to the customer for me was great. The gym facilities gave me the training session that I needed.
Disliked: The restaurant menu. The Greenlicious Burger was the only thing on the menu that I could eat. Everything else was either meat based or contained cream - something that I'm intolerant to.

Superior 'motel' conveniently situated near...

Liked: This is an upmarket chain 'motel' situated just off the E45 motorway and close to a Circle K fuel station. I was not expecting too much, but I was pleasantly surprised by what I found. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful and the room was fine for my needs (1 or 2 nights etc). What really surprised me was the excellent and popular restaurant with a small but varied menu. The portions were huge. Note, the restaurant is not open on a Sunday, so best check other options. There was a small bar and a garden area. Breakfast was good. The local fuel station was vey handy for snacks/drinks etc.
Disliked: I would be happy to stay here again, but it is worth noting a few points. You will need a car/motorbike to get here and it is not in walking distance of Aalborg City or Aalborg train station. It is quite isolated with only the petrol station for company (200m away). Many people were just passing through for one night (including a coach party) before getting back on the motorway network.
