good stay but disappointed for...

Liked: rooms are clean and tidy, staff was friendly. location is good near the main train station and trams running just outside the hotel.
Disliked: area is rough with lots of druggies in streets. my main attraction to book hotel was the indoor pool and this was closed and we could not use it during our stay, this should have been reported on booking.com website and we were disappointed for this.

Liked: Location is great. I have stayed here often, as I loved to utelize the pool. That usually makes the stay a great place to recover after a long flight, and before getting on the train... No fuss, but sufficient.
Disliked: Swimmingpool was out of order. Bathtub didn't hold the water. Breakfast room was cold & coffee station was 'cheap'... It felt a bit run down. Sorry for that.

Disliked: this hotel very very bad hotel and dirty. I checked in in roughly 2 o'clock with my kids.the moment I was at the counter checking in there was a customer at the counter complaining that the sink is blocked. little did I know that I was going to get the worsed.we checked in we went inside the hotel and went out immediately to eat something, we came back 2hrs after the moment I came back I decided to go and shower,when I finished my shower I took a towel to dry my self from the shell a new and fold towel,the only thing I could smell was a mess(stuhlgan,kaka) on a towel.when I look at the towel it's contain a defecation in other word kaka dry one on the towel.yuck guys I went back and wash me 3 times but I still couldn't smell it on my body.i decided to go down the reception and guess what they are telling me that it can't be from the hotel mayb is my kids i told them to check the towel the kaka or defecation is dry they just startedarguing.so my question was we just came in now if my kids could at all use the towel the mess would not be dryed up it have been wet. secondly my kids was not in that toilet I was the first to go to the toilet and to shower. thirdly why would my kids use the towel to wipe there us and just beside them there is a toilet paper?I asked them again if at all is my kids did that why would i come to them and complain instead i could have just wash it or hide it somewhere in the bathroom?my daughter can't even reach where the towel are.tnese people started shouting at me like crazy the guy at the reception was very rude he took the towel and through it away startet to threatening me with calling police or leave. I was really not happy after all I told them to call the police if they want. lastly he said I can choose to live or stay how could I again remove my 6 big bags to another hotel with all that cold and kids? surely is that how to handle a customer?I need my money paid back fully.

Disliked: The room was so dirty!! The heating system (radiator) was disgusting. The windows and the carpet were the same. The breakfast is really poor.The area where the hotel is dirty, and "dangerous". My friend who born in Frankfurt said this is the worst part in the city

Disliked: Ok, where do we start. The property was dirty. The carpets were very dirty in places. The room smelt awful. The mattress and curtains were especially dirty. Very very poor standard. The spa was very dated and equally dirty and smelt. The location was awful (see pictures) there were drug addicts using outside our hotel door, it was very intimidating and scary. This has to be the worst hotel we have ever stayed in, in the worst location.
