An interesting decorated hotel with...

Liked: Great location. Close to central Cologne and all the super markets. Easy walk to the Xmas market. Room size is ok. Quite clean and shower is powerful.
Disliked: The decor of the hotel is quite erotic. Full of mirrors everywhere. The bed is so soft that my back hurt the next day. The scent in the hotel is overpowering. Also, there’s no plug socket by the bed for charging our phones.

Disliked: I didn’t like that the breakfast is buffet only. It would be nice to order items wanted from a menu. It wasn’t clear where to park when checking in.

Really nice classy hotel, let...

Liked: The decor and ambience were wonderful. We had a surprise upgrade and had two rooms adjacent to one another - perfect for our family of 4. The beds were really comfy and the huge chaise longues was perfect for reclining after a long day sightseeing. Easy walking distance to the Christmas markets, cathedral, train station, restaurants etc. All in all a really nice classy hotel, let down by its breakfast.
Disliked: Breakfast wasn't included and at €29pp was poor value for money. Limited buffet options - no hot meat items, not much fruit, inconsistent quality omelettes, ran out of croissants... For the price of the rooms it was disappointing that there were no tea or coffee making facilities, and no complimentary bottled water.The lighting in the room was a little complicated to figure out.
