excellent loved the decor

Liked: the room was very well appointed with great artwork on the walls and mood lighting. there was no powerpoint next to bed however the receptionb provided a extyension cord for my sleep appnea machine.

The Savoy: An amazing relaxing...

Liked: The new modern designer hotel is just amazing: Chic, classy and comfortable. The spa is amazing, and you fund 90 degrees and 60 degrees Sauna and also a steam room Tgd room is very comfortable, richly recorated, and very welcoming. Also, the lighting was so carefully studied.
Disliked: The breakfast was a letdown for the money paid. I travel a lot, and I was looking forward to z nicd breakfast from such a top level hotel, but it was just like premier inn were one pays just €16!! not €30. Mariot Cologne remains the winner for breakfast; simply a unique experience. It's a shame as SAVOY promotes itself as a high dining experience.

Didn’t meet my expectations

Liked: The hotel is nicely designed and has a good bar downstairs, provides underground parking for additional cost, the staff is nice.
Disliked: Generally I was disappointed by this place fir a few reasons:1) we arrived at 8 pm, starving, but the restaurant didn’t work ((( and they never warned us about this through booking.com. In the mini bar only a pack of nuts was available, so, this was our dinner. 2) this was the first hotel in my life with no kettle /cups / spoons.. we couldn’t even make our own tea and couldn’t take medicine requiring mixing with a spoon3) not even paper slippers provided.. never seen this in a 4*4) parking for €30 per night seems a bit overpriced for the hotel guests already paying reasonably for accommodation

Liked: When in Cologne than I'm staying at Savoy Cologne! Always friendly staff and reception, clean and nice rooms and awesome vibe.

Disappointing

A delightful stay with stunning...

Liked: We had a wonderful stay overall! The hotel staff was absolutely lovely, ensuring we felt welcome and well taken care of throughout our visit. We were delighted to be upgraded to a room with stunning panoramic views, which was a real treat. The room itself was fabulous—spacious, well-appointed, and incredibly comfortable.The hotel’s bars and restaurants were gorgeous, offering a perfect blend of style and relaxation. As for the location, it was ideal for exploring—just an easy walk to the train station and the Christmas markets, which made our holiday experience even more magical.
Disliked: The only two complaints were that there was no coffee provided in the room and that the surrounding area lacked character and didn’t feel entirely safe.
