Could've been better

Liked: We chose Savhotel because we wanted the efficiency of finding a taxi during the wee hours of the morning for our 6am flight as well as it's proximity to the airport i.e the hotel would call us a cab as opposed to finding one ourselves since the Marconi Express (Monorail) to and from the airport only opens at 5:40am. We didn't opt for breakfast as we decided to walk into the city centre. The hotel would tell you that you could take a bus or it would be a 40min walk. We love walking and it took us 30mins each way. It wasn't a deal breaker because the distance would work up our appetites or helped us digest the delicious offerings in Bologna and you know that the food here is sublime.
Disliked: Regrettably, I can't rate this hotel higher because we arrived at a period when the hotel switched from ACs to heating even though the weather was still in the mid 20sC. Hence, we could not cool our room, which got to 25+C and were advised to open the windows or they could provide a fan. We opted for the latter because we tried opening the windows but we would always get a pungent waft of cigarette smoke. Hence, for a 4-star hotel, I really think they could've done better.

Liked: Staff was great. Location is a little off but everthing else was great.
Disliked: A lot of construction in the immediate area.

Liked: The hotel was modern, very clean and the staff was exceptional.
Disliked: There wasn't anything I didn't like about the property even though it wasn't within walking distance of major attractions.

Perfect stay in Bologna

Liked: Loved eveything. This is the second stay this year. I recommend the breakfast. Check out the roof garden for the view. Keep in mind to ask for a room that is further away from the elevator area.
Disliked: Nothing to complain.

Very good Hotel - but...

Liked: The hotel was very nice and comfortable. We had a really good night as well as a very good restaurant recommondation from the reception. Great job !
Disliked: Actually the only complain I can make was the price ..... most expensive Hotel during our Italy holiday week ....
