Good enough for spending one...

Liked: It was a continental breakfast so there wasn't much to expect from it.
Disliked: The hard boiled eggs in the mini fridge looked old. There was no water (only hot water) in the breakfast room.

We enjoyed it

Liked: Location and price were excellent. Cannot say enough good stuff about the staff we interacted with.
Disliked: Found quite a few missed hairs in our bathroom and one dirty spot. Common areas were clean, but many maintenance needs apparent.

I wished I had chosen...

Liked: The bed was comfortable. The staff I met (one gentleman) was very nice.
Disliked: Paint splattered all over (tub, bathroom floor, the sides of the mirrors, the windows, refrigerator, even on the phone.) The framed mirrors had blue painters tape on the sides and paint elsewhere. Wall paint over bed did not match rest of wall. Towel rack only had one hook, nothing else. Nowhere to hang your clothes. No hair dryer. Breakfast was only bread, bagels, oatmeal mix, and breakfast bars. Nothing hot or homemade. No elevator. No sound proofing. I could hear TV from another room and someone talking on his phone in the middle of the night.

Liked: The bed was comfortable and clean
Disliked: The whole place, it was old and dirty. The people hanging out their were scary. The price we paid on booking.com was more than double what they were charging other people by $100. Switch plates falling off the wall, smelled bad....I recommend you stay somewhere else

Very good

Remodel has definitely improved property

Liked: Clean and comfortable, No real issues. A few minor annoyances but expected in an older property but clearly updated and improved from recent remodel. Hot tub is great.
Disliked: Breakfast is very basic. Do not expect anything more than fruit, yogurt, toast and cereal.

Passable

Liked: Good water pressure and hot water.
Disliked: Inside was rough. Looked to be falling apart. Staff was friendly, but had their family in the lobby and riding bicycles in the parking lot at 10pm. Breakfast was not as advertised and very disappointing.
