Wonderful for a relaxing weekend

Liked: The breakfast was amazing. So civilised. Just order from the menu and they bring it with smiles and courtesy. Love the fresh fruit juices (seasonal), love the porridge and I tested their poached eggs. Really good! The dinner was also amazing. Loved it. We got lucky with the bedroom, it overlooks the courtyard so it was lovely and quiet. So nice to wake up to the morning sun - this is even though it was a wet weekend when I got there. Plus the location was perfect.
Disliked: Cannot really complain. The staff were so lovely and polite. I needed extra sheets one evening and they provided with no fuss at all. If there was one thing i would say I was disappointed I couldn't buy their Claus Porto hand wash, which was out of stock at the time.

Liked: Very nice hotel in a great location! The staff was very friendly and gave us great lunch and dinner recommendations and even helped us book them. We loved having the cafe and bar right on site.

Liked: This boutique hotel is in a beautiful, historic, building, in the heart of the Alfama, overlooking the sea. The facilities are lovely: the public spaces are tasteful with interesting paintings and photographs; there’s a fun cocktail bar, a restaurant and a café cum breakfast room, as well as a spa that we didn’t make use of. Our bedroom was spacious, calming and had a lovely view of the sea. Service was friendly throughout and the breakfasts were generous and made to order.

Liked: Everyone on staff was amazing and helpful. They went out of their way to provide the highest level of service. The location was perfect for us, and the neighborhoods afforded easy access to many great restaurants.
Disliked: No complaints at all.

Disliked: Because they use dark, moody colors, it is a little dark in the place.

Marvellous rooms with sea views

Liked: Location was great in Alfama and staff were so helpful especially Guilherme .We were upgraded and then upgraded again to a marvellous suite with extensive windows with views over the sea !-
Disliked: Nothing
