Disliked: There was mold around the bottom of the shower where the refrigerator was the carpet was filthy and the cover was all broke up the front entrance had a giant stain on the floor had a chair that look like somebody had shredded it with a knife worst ever

Liked: Only thing we liked was hanging out by the fire pitarea.
Disliked: We have stayed at this hotel numerous times but this is the first time the room was this gross. The room was disgustingly dirty. The white window curtains were black, not sure if it was mold and were also covered with other stains. There was mold in the restroom. The bed skirts were very dirty as were the room and restroom floors. There were cobwebs. The furniture and everything within the room needed deep cleaning. The pool area and the pool itself was very dirty too. Bird poop everywhere and the pool floors gross and filled with trash. I dont care about it being outdated, but they really need to work on cleanliness. There was also a very weird smell but we couldn't determine what it was or where it came from. We will not be staying here any longer or recommending to anyone. Extremely disappointed!

Liked: It was close to Hearst Castle., restaraunt on site and restaurants across the street. Avoid Big Sur Cafe was not good. Liquor store across the street. The beds were comfortable. Bathroom clean and good size. Two swimming pools, a third inside pool is still closed. The giant chess,checker and corn whole games outside were nice and the out side fire pits where amazing. Access to beach. Staff was super nic, lobby had free coffee.
Disliked: When you walk into the room its musty..probably due to carpets needing to be replaced. I carry lysol. We stayed two days you dont smell the mustiness pretty much after a bit. Take a scented candle, room spray or plug just incase. Check in is next door...not a huge inconvenience. No breakfast. In our room it had a switch for ceiling fanlight combo but the light would only go dim and not turn off when we only wanted the fan on.
