The hotel was clean and the room was very comfortable. It was nice having Chop Steakhouse in the hotel.

Liked: The close proximity to the train to get to the concert was a short walk and one train stop away with another short walk.
Disliked: I wish more hotels would offer mobile check in to avoid the long line-ups during special event weekends.

Exceptional

Liked: Access to Rogers place without going outdoors, city centre, dining options, exceptionally clean rooms and building, great security features.
Disliked: A little pricey but I guess that's expected downtown. Price went up after I booked due to demand for concerts at Roger's

Liked: Good size rooms, comfy beds, great location
Disliked: Was in town for a concert. They have only 3 elevators and quite a number of floors so can be a lineup for getting up to your room depending on timing.

Liked: Great location for going to a hockey game at rogers centre - no need to even to outside - room was spacious and comfortable loved that chop steakhouse is located in hotel for a nightcap
Disliked: rooms need a bit of updating - we could see that bathroom doors needed a painting but looked like they just refreshed around the handle in a different colour - also bed was sagging to middle - we selected a king size bed but both of us kept falling into the middle of the bed

Hoping for better

Disliked: $48 for overnight parking is absolutely ridiculous Your evening staff was condescending and rude. We also asked for a simple bottle of wine to be in our room as it’s our 19yr anniversary and such a simple request couldn’t be fulfilled.

Liked: Very convenient if in from out of town working in the MNP tower. Lots of parking in a roomy, heated parkade.
Disliked: Forget about getting a table at CHOP on game night. As a solo traveller on business I was turned away at 4:30 pm from what was a nearly empty restaurant because I did not have a reservation. I'm not sure that is a business model I would personally go with.

Liked: The place was very clean great location to Roger Centre.
Disliked: I received two parking tickets despite paying the parking fee for each night. Although they will have them cancelled out, I felt it should not have happened in the first place had they have done their job and for that reason I deducted a few points. The Chop House which is the closest restaurant is not recommended. The evening supper involved a hefty long delay in getting our food despite having a reservation for well over a week and a very inedible beef dip. When brought up to the restaurant they offered to take it off yet. The bill came with the full charge the following morning and the morning before they were out of more items than they were in.They have a very limited breakfast menu, and with the amount of items they were out of it made the breakfast menu nearly nonexistent. I would suggest a back up plan for breakfast or any meal

Liked: Did not have breakfast
Disliked: We upgraded to a premium grande king room.. Definitely not worth 250 plus dollars a night. We could hear the elevator all night and the room was no different than any of the other rooms we stayed in. We asked at the front desk to put parking under our room we parked in the outside lot and when we went out to our vehicle after checkout we had a violation for parking on our windshield. The hotel never registered or payed for our vehicle under our room.
