First off I booked it through ConcertHotels and it said $69 plus taxes. Came out to $77.92. I showed my girlfriend and booked it. The price was right there on the screen while I put in the credit card info. When we arrived they told me it was 100 bucks. Then parking was 25 bucks. Although they never told me that until morning. It was dirty. Disgusting towels and garbage on the floor. I had to check the mattress for bed bugs. I have pictures but most likely can't put them up. Oh and it was under construction and had no hot water until 5 pm. Also pool and hot tub were unavailable. So nothing worked, it was gross and I was overcharged. I will be staying at the Delta from now on - same price and they treat you great. It's clean and parking is cheaper.

Liked: The only good thing that was good is that we were close to venue.
Disliked: Rip off; disgusting, cheap hotel.

Liked: No breakfast.
Disliked: I don’t like the fact that the room wasn’t cleaned the period I stayed. The lady said we must leave the room for her to clean it.

Liked: As always the staff were great, helped me with parking and upgraded my room (which was appreciated). They did provide the higher floor as requested as well.
Disliked: Sometimes it is the people that hang around outside, however, that is not really their fault.

Amazing stay and I plan...

Liked: The place is clean and has a fancy feel to it whilst charging great prices. I stayed at the sandman on 8th ave in Calgary and had a view of the mountains even though I was downtown which I found impressive.
Disliked: The property was great I have no complaints

Good value in the downtown...

Liked: Our room had a king size bed with a love seat in the sitting area. There was a small coffee bar and small fridge area which was in a small cramped area near the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. Soft and firm pillow choices provided. Linens and towels were nice. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Elevators are fast and never much of a wait which was great seeing we were on a high floor.
Disliked: The bathroom was quite small with only a large shower area, no bathtub. Due to our room being on a higher floor it took a while to get hot water for the shower but once it was running there was no problem and there were lots of hot water. There was only regular coffee supplied in our room and I would have also liked decaf and more choices for tea. It can be difficult finding where to turn for the underground parking but once you figure it out and the correct elevator for the garage it’s fine.

Liked: Excellent front desk staff - prompt and attentive. Also management of the hotel (that responded to my inquiry) was very supportive and pleasure to deal with. Seldom I come across excellent service like that in travels. This hotel exceeded expectations.
