Beautiful Inn right in the...

Liked: The location of the Inn was great with easy walking into town for access to restaurants. The Inn also has parking which is a plus in busy downtown Bar Harbor. The staff was very friendly and personable and worked to make us feel welcome, and the public spaces are beautifully decorated. In warmer weather, sitting on the porch or in the beautifully landscaped outside spaces to watch the world go by would have been enjoyable. Easy access to Acadia National Park is another selling point and reason for staying at the Inn for more than one night. Breakfast was a special cooked meal with a choice of 2 options, which is a sign to me that the staff takes the B&B aspect seriously.
Disliked: We booked only a week out during a semi-busy season, but felt our room was quite small and simple for the price we were charged. The bed took up the entire room with only one chair, so the space was not conducive to a private retreat.
