Don't go, waste of money.

Liked: The hotel is expensive for what you got, dirty, the smell is so bad, the staff unfriendly and they doesn't do their job. Requested an invoices since 3 weeks, I still didn't get it. Really bad place to be and waste your time.

It has a cozy hostel...

Liked: Great location. Clean room. Bed was comfortable and we had a great view from our little room. It was surprisingly quiet, but we were on the third floor in the back. People walk around in their PJ's when getting their morning coffee (which was surprisingly delicious). The hotel was extremely affordable and the staff were accommodating, always polite and helpful. 24 hour staffing!! If you like vintage...you will love the San Remo.
Disliked: Very small room and little closet space.

Liked: Really great and helpful staff. It's very outdated, but I think that adds to the charm. I really recommend for the location and staff.I was a solo female traveller and felt very safe. Close to a seven eleven and the main fishermans wharf area.

Liked: The property is great! I stay here alot. This time I found the showers were not cleaned enough. Some guests should pick up after themselves and not leave things in the showers especially their long hairs all over the sink and shower walls. That was the only turn off for me.Other than that the property still has the old charm that makes me return every year.
Disliked: Can't think of anything.

Stylish place to stay

Liked: The hotel is well located and it has its charm. You feel like traveling in time. Pier 39 is just a few steps away. The price was very good.
Disliked: Some parts of the hotel would deserve deeper cleaning, especially the carpets.

Comfy and good value

Liked: It’s an historical building with a comfortable bed. The shared bathrooms are clean.
Disliked: Since it’s an old building you can hear absolutely everything.
