A beautiful lodge.

Liked: Fantastic house turned hostel. Soft beds, cozy rooms and a very home-like feel to all areas. Staff are kind and promote as much in their guests. Conveniently located to trains & buses. A great quiet neighborhood.
Disliked: Nothing at all.

Wonderful hostel had many travelers...

Liked: The atmosphere was warm, welcoming and calm! If you LIKE Hostel-style overnights you will LOVE this location! Our room was clean, cozy and next door to a community restroom/shower that could be locked for privacy and connection to our room at night. We felt SAFE, welcomed and quiet hours were honored (being that our room was next to communal spaces that was much appreciated!).
Disliked: N/A I only wish I had thought deeper about the kitchen facilities by bringing herbal tea, and foodie items or making time to stop at a local grocery store have food beyond the delicious pancakes. No fault of the hostel, only an oversight for us... :)

A very cute stay!

Liked: What a cute property in a lovely suburb. Very homely and welcomed by a very helpful and friendly member of staff. 10 minute walk to the main street where there was a lovely buzzing (lots of young students) Saturday night vibe with bars and places to grab a slice of pizza. On street parking in a very safe feeling neighbourhood. 10 minute drive to the local outdoor drive-in cinema which was awesome!
Disliked: We stayed in a room right off the kitchen, which was a little small and had a day-time shared bathroom. In the night though, they allow you to lock the bathroom door to the other guests and use it as a private bathroom overnight. Which is extremely nice and considerate. The nightly room rate was pretty pricey.

Most lovely stay.

Liked: Staff was awesome. Everyone there is very friendly, open, accepting, and willing to be of service. I've not felt so welcomed anyplace in a long time like I was there. The property is nice, has a nice yard, swing in front, access to shopping and restaurants. The ambiance is wonderful. Laid back, with guitars, a piano, and a harp that you can play. NO TV!!

Super atmosphere, comfi and clean...

Liked: Super atmosphere, comfi and clean double bed room, nice and helpful hosts. Walking distance to main street with nice pubs.

Perfect For My Purposes

Liked: Easy to find, easy street parking, basic hostel type accommodations. I liked that I got an extra blanket when I asked for it and that it was quiet. Everyone seemed very respectful of the house rules. It was clean and tidy. The free breakfast was a nice touch.
Disliked: I stayed in a shared dorm and came in after check-in hours (a few minutes after 10). When I opened the dorm door it was dark inside, so I found the open bed therein, dropped my things off, and then went to use the rest room. When I came back to go to sleep, someone had deadbolted the door so I couldn't get in. The house employee didn't have a key to the door, so we had to wait for someone inside to open it. It was a little strange.
