Took 15 year old grandson to Zelda Symphony and decided to stay the night in San Jose - room was on the 22nd floor, and service was great. Across from the Symphony venue; excellent restaurant (high priced but worth it); Tech & Art Museum; Christmas in the Park. Great location downtown.

Disliked: Waited 30 minutes in line to check-in; there was only 1 person at the counter in front of me. Shower was dirty. Parking was $50/night

Liked: The beds at Marriott Hotels are the absolute best for comfort. This hotel was no exception. The hotel was esthetically pleasing.
Disliked: The set up in the room was inconvenient, the bar hours were extremely short, the valet parking set up was THE WORST.
