Took 15 year old grandson to Zelda Symphony and decided to stay the night in San Jose - room was on the 22nd floor, and service was great. Across from the Symphony venue; excellent restaurant (high priced but worth it); Tech & Art Museum; Christmas in the Park. Great location downtown.

Liked: Beautiful hotel, great room, and location.
Disliked: Pay for internet in room - really?

I would recommend this hotel...

Liked: It felt effortless. It was high end, well appointed, and comfortable. Was definitely one of the best Marriott experiences I’ve had.

Marriott consistency that you can...

Liked: Consistency of Marriott quality. Rooms clean and beds comfortable. Convenient location.
Disliked: Even though maintenance came straight to the room to assist, initially our bathroom door was off its hinges and the Netflix didn’t work because it was somehow unplugged. The coffee machine also was not plugged in so I had to move it to the bathroom so that I wouldn’t wake my children when I went to make coffee in the morning. The valet was a mess but the staff did a good job even though they seemed understaffed.
