Liked: Loved the interiors. Great friendly helpful service. Comfy bed. Top notch toiletries.
Disliked: Location was a bit sketchy at night which meant with teenagers we couldn’t really let them go for a wander. On the other hand it was close to the mission area which has the best food and we also found so many other local places to eat. Some really cool street wear shops too. Our kids actually preferred the location to Fisherman’s wharf as they found it more authentic and interesting!! I think a 2-3 day stay there is sufficient.

Disliked: It is pricey, the south side of the hotel is ok when using the valet. The north side on market street unfortunately has a lot of homeless, not a place I felt comfortable walking with my wife

My top two stay in...

Liked: The Kelly Wreastler design as always is impeccable and beautiful and tasteful all around in lobby, the rooms and restaurants. You can’t find a better rooftop view than Proper in SF and on weekends it’s always a cool crowd. The beds are so comfortable the shower just perfect and most of all the staff are so helpful. I had a meeting 5 minutes after I arrived and they helped me with an early check in to get to my room.
Disliked: The location is not great but that’s just SF. You have to uber in and out. Don’t walk around.

Bad

Liked: The room was safe and comfortable
Disliked: The valet lost my keys for 45 minutes. Threw off the whole day, missed reservations, and two mental breakdowns later we got our keys and just went home. Terrible experience.

Loved being in the center...

Liked: Loved the room and the decor, loved the lobby and decor. Loved the other guests - so many from Europe!
Disliked: The sad situation with unhoused people in streets on blocks near the hotel.
