Great place to stay in...

Liked: Lovely historic property. It was very clean and comfortable. Nice complimentary soap/toiletries and tea/coffee provisions in the room. Hot chocolate, biscuits and bottled water also provided. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great with a great choice. In addition to the usual cereal etc and good choice of traditional English cooked breakfast, options of pancakes etc, plus pastries and good range of fruit.
Disliked: Very little… I would have liked a thicker duvet. The one provided was warm enough but I like to feel snuggled up!

Good location, staff friendly enough,...

Liked: Fresh orange juice was not fresh i.e. "off", and the tables were sticky i.e. "unclean".! But the location was good.
Disliked: Drinks like orange juice and milk could of been more fresh, and the tables could of been cleaner!

Liked: nothing was too much trouble, Staff very nice and friendly, even charged my mobile for me when id forgotten my charger.it wont be the last time i stay there, because it was perfect for the Car Ferry yerminal
