Samesun Hostel @ Venice beach...

Liked: Loved that the hostel is within walking distance of the Venice Beach area, skatepark and workout area which were some of the main reasons I really wanted to stay at this location. My stay was during Thanksgiving holiday week, so was not as crowded even though it can be a high traffic area. What really made my experience great here were the awesome fellow hostel people I befriended and explored the beach and L.A. area with, good times! Staff were also available to communicate with and accommodating.
Disliked: The mixed-dorm style room I stayed in didn't have a place to hang bath towels or coats which I think would be helpful. Lockers also may need some maintenance to keep doors from jamming. Breakfast was basic (instant coffee / tea, toast and small oranges) but honestly for the price to stay it's not really an issue.

Disliked: Very loud at night with night club underneath.Bed was very old, collapsed on one side.

Liked: Good price, next to beach, plenty of local shops, comfortable bed, good common room, breakfast a bit basic but free.
Disliked: Lots of stairs, okay if you have no luggage but unfortunately I did have as just finished some cruises.

Disliked: So loud- it‘s right above a club. You can not just hear the music, you can also feel the bass, cause the room is vibrating.

Liked: My daughter Sara was so happy to be back in the same hostel after a month :) Bleu, the receptionist, was so nice and helpful, he was just the best, thank you so much again for your help!See you all very soon again maybe :)
Disliked: in the dorm in the first night there was a very unrespectful coloured man that disturbed everybody sleep at around 4 am, thank god during second night he was better.
