We highly recommend this hotel...

Liked: Front desk was friendly and accommodating. Lobby, breakfast room, pool area, and room were exceptionally clean. Room was comfortable and offered many amenities.
Disliked: We liked it all and we will definitely stay there again!

Unexpected home away from home

Liked: Breakfast was standard fare but good, parking was nice, room was modern and cool, very pet and kid friendly, good amenities. Would definitely stay here but plan to stay longer than 1 night. There is no bad view from any of the hotel rooms in this place!
Disliked: This is super nit picky but I wish breakfast was more robust from chain hotel standards and other activities available to guests were mentioned on check in such as rental for bikes, smores kits, coloring page/crayon rental kits, and equipment for bonfires. I learned so much after our stay that I wished I could have stayed longer to enjoy all the offerings.

Liked: We liked everything. Good location. Friendly staff.
Disliked: My wife took a bath and tried to add some more hot water to it after sitting in the bath a while. But there was no hot water available. When I went in to use the shower the next morning, I ran into the a similar situation. The water was lukewarm at best. Then all of a sudden right before I was ready to turn the water off, it started to warm up. Seems like the rooms share water heaters maybe. That part kind of sucked.

Spring break with some ups...

Liked: The size of our room was 2 bedroom and large living room. 2 king size beds in the bedrooms. Extremely clean. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. Location was not on the ocean front but only a block away. Close to the Main Street. Close to several restaurants and shops. The breakfast was always plentiful and hot. The pool was large. The hot tub was hot and very nice.
Disliked: Our room on the 4th floor had no hot water for showers. I mentioned to the front desk everyday (we stayed 4 days) and they said they’d see what they could do. Unfortunately we’d get enough hot water for 1 person to lather up then stone cold. There were five of us. Yes we survived. The hide a bed was a joke. Springs missing from bottom of bed and the head of bed fell to the floor when used. Yes they sent a maintenance man to repair. He added new springs head propped for a short time. My grandson ended up just sleeping on top of the couch. This room was supposed to sleep 6 not sure where they’d put the 6th person. Our fireplace came on about midnight without anyone being awake or touching the buttons. I woke up because it was extremely hot. I couldn’t turn off the fireplace so again I called the front desk. Again they were very accommodating and sent someone up immediately. The young man tried and called someone for advice and finally they figured out that the buttons on the thermostat weren’t lined up. He finally turned it off. Btw I am not a complainer normally but this resort is one of the newest ones in Seaside.

Pet poop weekend

Liked: Facility was clean, except for the two piles of dog poop at the entrance. Didn't realize this was such a pet friendly hotel.
Disliked: Dogs barking beginning at 643 in the morning. Aren't there rules to noise abatement? I overpaid for a room and I'm frustrated that the pet situation wasn't addressed when I mentioned it to the desk staff during breakfast.
