The place to stay in...

Liked: The hosting couple gives you a warm and welcome feeling from the first second till you leave. Everything in the house and surrounding the house is perfectly matching. You feel like you’re the king in a castle.

Liked: This place is amazing. Not a hotel or B&B, but a large elegant family home where you are made as welcome as it is possible to feel. First impression was excellent and everything got even better from there on! I’ve never been so sad to leave anywhere. We feel we have made new friends
Disliked: There is absolutely nothing to not like. If I was being really picky, maybe the (short) hill back from town could be just a little less steep

Liked: The property was delightful and perfect for our minimoon. Paul and Alan were fabulous hosts and breakfast was fantastic. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a long weekend away, and a short walk in to Rye is ideal.

One of the best short...

Liked: From the moment you approach the property on the route in you feel special. Huge Iron gates with the most beautiful building beyond them in impeccable condition. The best thing about the property is its owners Paul and Alan. They are simply total experts and go well beyond anything you would expect. They are kind, caring and their attention to detail is clear in everything they do. From the initial brief to saying goodbye. It’s not just a stay it is an experience.
Disliked: Nothing we didn’t like. There are something about it that makes you feel special and exclusive.

The perfect indulgent break in...

Liked: We were taking a break with my 91 year old mother in law. The accommodation and attention given made it the perfect choice. Superbly comfortable, luxurious yet homely.
Disliked: Everything was fabulous.
