Good
Liked: The check out receptionist was great! The room was clean and comfortable.
Disliked: check in receptionist was no so great. We were not give any information on breakfast or the parking and ended up paying $15 to park in the parking garage on day one and we’re not told we could use our room key for a parking pass and only have to pay the 24 hr fee of $26 until check out. During check in it was not made clear that I would be charged/have a hold put on my card of $51 for incidentals.

Liked: The location was great
Disliked: We reserved and prepaid for a king room for 4 nights and even called ahead to reiterate that our train would be arriving after midnight, but when we arrived we were told that only a second floor room with two doubles was available, and that we were lucky they could honor the reservation. Also, the shower door is not sufficient, the whole bathroom gets soaked.

Phenomenal hotel with amenities nearby...
Liked: The location was incredible. I was within walking distance of everything I needed. The rooms were kept up with housecleaning and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! Will absolutely stay there again if I'm ever in Salt Lake City. Your waitstaff at the restaurant and bartenders at the bar were above incredible.
Disliked: The housekeeping was definitely understaffed and somethings I had to do myself as far as cleaning which was a little unexpected, but I believe the housekeeper was doing her absolute best so it was no fault of hers. Also, being able to have room service there from the restaurants would have been wonderful.

Short stay in a very...
Liked: The hotel is a Marriott and part of the more high-end hotel chains. It is located next to a large shopping centre and as we had some time to kill, it was nice after a long drive.
Disliked: There are two things which we didn't like. To access Wi-Fi, you either have to pay or register as a frequent Marriott customer. We opted for the last solution, but could not log in, so it didn't work at all. It is disappointing that a hotel chain like Marriott uses this way of working. In today's world, Wi-Fi should be available as a standard without any humbugs or tricks. We also had to pay for parking. The chances that your hotel guest will arrive with a car is about 90% or more, so this should also be offered as a standard.
