An affordable and unique gem...

Liked: I loved the layout of the property. It’s unique and well decorated. The hotel room itself was lovely with a well functioning ac/heat unit and plumbing. Seems like it’s been newly refurbished. The furnishings are clean and nice, I had a room with a lovely walk in shower I wish I had had more time to enjoy. I also really appreciated a hotel room that didn’t have stained and sticky carpeting (so gross) - instead it was tile which kept the air in the room much fresher than most chain hotels. it was a great little find and I will be back. The man at the front desk was amiable, helpful, and kind. He was also very knowledgeable about the area.
Disliked: The only real disappointment was the bed! It was a king, but it’s a little dilapidated/worn. I’d suggest the property owner replace the mattress. The breakfast on offer is more like some ‘morning’ snacks. It didn’t bother me, there’s a McDonalds a 2 minute walk away, but if you’re counting on it to be a hot breakfast spread, I’d recalibrate those expectations. :)

Liked: The staff was great. Very personable and texted us immediately that I had left an item in the room and that would hold it for us until we returned later that day to pick it up. Very kind and honest.
Disliked: Difficult to store clothes. No closet or drawer space. We just stayed overnight so it was ok for us but if I had been staying longer, it would have been problematic. The breakfast was very sparse. Once we saw what was offered, we chose to eat out.
