A pleasant and hassle-free stay...

Liked: I recently stayed at The Scholar Hotel in Edinburgh for 4 days and had a wonderful experience. The hotel offers a convenient parking spot in its courtyard, which was a great perk. The accommodations were comfortable, cozy, and nicely maintained, making it easy to relax and enjoy my stay. Everything was well-arranged and met my expectations. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and hassle-free stay in Edinburgh.

Disappointing

Liked: Close to my son who is at the uni.
Disliked: Room was very small for a deluxe double. Hardly any room around bed. Very noisy in the morning due to building works. Called at 8.45am by reception and asked to move my car as tree felling taking place. Very unhappy and will not be staying again.

Liked: Location, previous experience of hotel, breakfast (now hot buffet) much easier than prev cooked-to-order, large beds, parking facilities, Great bus routes in/back
Disliked: Getting a little expensive compared to previous visits - but that maybe Edinburgh popularity also factoring and recent refurbs in recent years
