Excellent hotel with superb food

Liked: Fantastic room, comfortable and spotless. Dinner in the bar was superb: freshly made and delicious, washed down with a very reasonably priced Barolo. I can't fault the place. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Liked: Our room was clean, comfortable, had great amenities and the location was ideal. The pub below was also very welcoming and a nice place for an evening nightcap.

A Comfortable Night in Hertford

Liked: I was here for a post-Christmas celebration just along the road and have stayed at the Salisbury before. The room was comfortable and quiet with all facilities (except the bedside lamp) working. The hotel is in a good central location in Hertford. I didn't have the breakfast this time but have had it there before and it was good.
Disliked: No problem for me, but I suspect the room would have been a bit cramped for a couple.

Exceptional

Liked: Two giant marshmallows for pillows and a meringue of a duvet on a big, comfy bed. A powerful, walk-in shower with upmarket toiletries and large, fluffy towels. Then there's the bar which serves proper beer - cask and keg - which you can accompany with tasty food from the bar menu. Probably give the restaurant a go next time, too.
Disliked: Not sure I found amy shortcomings.

Liked: Awesome hotel. Perfect combination between tradition and stylish design. Usually I don‘t rate hotels etc., but here I just need to make an exception because it was really splendid.
