I give this hotel “1...

Liked: The hotel lobby was stunning.The view to the beach and marina was beautiful.
Disliked: The cab ride to the hotel is around €26 from the Salerno train station.The Front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. That is where the pleasantries stopped. The service staff were extremely rude and inefficient.When we arrived just minutes after the lunchtime service, we were given a bowl of potato chips and charged for our drinks. That evening, there was a private function going on in the dining hall. We were seated in a dark lounge with no table settings, music, or staff… it gave the impression that we were an inconvenience. The menu was extremely limited and expensive.The next evening it was very obvious to us that there was no chef in the kitchen. When I asked to speak to the chef I was rudely confronted by the Manager on Duty. It was discovered that our waiter had made our dinner. Needless to say, the next day the we were ignored by the servers and received zero service. The beautiful buffet that is shown in the pictures is actually all prefabricated foods except for runny scrambled eggs, beans in water, hot dog chunks, and some cut up sausages. The rooms were spacious, but full of ants. When I plugged in my phone charger, dozens of ants came spilling out from behind the plate. Disgusting and Disappointing.

Liked: Access to the beach, very clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and nice
Disliked: The hard access to it. You need to use a car if you have big luggage because it’s far from train metro and bus
