Not what I expected

Disliked: There were alot of different characters staying here. I feel like there is a need to advertise whether the accommodation is also emergency housing because if I'd been aware, I wouldn't have stayed here.

Liked: Staff were very friendly and kind, room had everything we needed, great location!

Liked: Easy walking distance to the stadium.
Disliked: After a big day travelling we wanted to shower before going out, there was no hot water; so I went to the office which was locked and knocked to get their attention, then then turned on the hot water, the hot water must be turned down very low as we had to basically have the tap on as hot as it could go. The floor of the shower wasnt stuck down properly and moved around when you were standing on it, due to this it was obvious the shower was leaking underneath and down under the lino, which was all bubbled and had filth and black mould marks all over it. There was a fan in the bathroom wall that you could see through directly into the adjoining room. The room smelt very very bad, and it appears that other guests there are permanent as their children were riding around the carpark on their bikes and adults sitting outside their room doors constantly yelling swearwords at eachther and smoking. Our room smelt so bad and was very hot which made it smell worse, because we couldnt open the windows, we turned on the air conditioning to try and get some air into our room while we popped out (to hopefully return to a nicer less stinky room), when we returned it appeared that the motel owners had turned the air coditioning off and the room smelt like rotten fish.

Liked: Good location to Mt Smart Stadium
Disliked: Perfect to stay for one night after a concert but pretty basic

Well located within walking distance...
