Good location anf breakfast. Acceptable...

Liked: Breakfast very good. Liked the remote rural site.
Disliked: No staff at 4pm checkin. Confusing as to how to find our keys. Room warm; no ceiling fan. With window open, bugs flew in. Reception staff at checkout was mediocre; a bit standoffish.

A hidden gem - a...

Liked: Fabulous location.Great downstairs room that opened onto the garden leading to the lake.Very enjoyable dinner.Good buffet choice for breakfast.
Disliked: No kettle or tea/coffee facilities in the room.

Excellent place for a stay

Liked: We were on our way to Slen and needed a stop. We were met by a very kind and professional staff. The rooms were spacious, clean and we had a nice view of a lake nearby. In the evening we had a dinner at the restaurant and the food and service were excellent. We had to leave before the serving of breakfast. Then the staff made some sandwiches to us for the early morning travel.
Disliked: I have no negative remarks.
