Now home we reflect on...

Liked: The location was perfect and the small staff worked hard to facilitate our needs. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. The front desk staff was very helpful in assisting us to understand travel to The Gorge and other questions I had.
Disliked: The staff was small so they seemed to struggle with assisting us. Especially the wait staff, they assisted the bare minimum.

Memorable!

Liked: Very unique location, immersive experience among the vineyard, lovely attention to detail.
Disliked: I felt the signage for the roads could be improved. And the number of remotes to attempt to control the TV was overwhelming, plus the remote for the fireplace & AC unit. And maybe by the electric kettle, place a reminder placard that creamer is in the fridge.

Liked: The resort has a great location for a concert, the views are amazing.
Disliked: Rooms are so beat up, we had a candy wrapper in our bed, sheets had stains, toilet seat was was so chipped n beat up, never seen anything so bad . just sad that they keep adding to hotel but not keeping up main part . Owners need to go through all the rooms , maybe stay in them to see the rooms conditions. Food was good once we got it but they are short staffed. Wouldnt recommend fir the money. We traveled along way for a concert, wont be back.

Loved it - the place...

Liked: It’s beautiful with great hiking and a pool plus vineyard and winery near.
Disliked: Our caravan was mostly lovely but they resealed the patio the day we arrived so we couldn’t sit out on Adirondack chairs which seemed wrong since we paid $500 to stay that night. Also our room was missing its coffee maker but had all the other coffee making items there - just no machine.

Liked: Incredible location & the views are unreal. Rooms are beautifully designed.
Disliked: What lets this place down is the staff who don’t seem like they want to be here at all (apart from the whisky bar tender who was great). No information given at check in. The cafe and pool cafe are closed tues & wed so there’s very limited options for food & drink in the day, especially as you’re so isolated. Asked for a coffee at 12pm and was told they don’t serve coffee? The bar was covered in pizza boxes and other rubbish. Rubbish also lying around outside for the three days we stayed. No towels at the pool with piles of dirty ones on the side. Ran out of many dishes on Monday evening. Rooms also not very clean. It’s such a shame as it could have been 5 stars. But unfriendly, unhelpful and not enough staff did not do this place any favours.
