Very good
Liked: Beautiful decor, friendly staff, amazing location! I love the history of the place!! Will definitely go back soon!
Disliked: I wish the pool was indoors. On site laundry would be nice and a microwave in the fireplace room would be nice. Otherwise the female waitress at the Grill restaurant was a bit brash. Short & rude even. 2nd time in she was a bit better.

If you want a charming,...
Liked: The location was great - just outside of downtown Taos! I liked the casita - very private and charming with a comfy bed and romantic kiva fireplace! I wish we had time to use the hot tub and fitness center but they were available for us. There was also nightly live music but it was too early for us; it ended around 8 pm!!
Disliked: Everything was lovely! One thing was breakfast - we headed into town and found a few great breakfast options which were yummy. I don’t know if the hotel breakfast would have been better!

Disappointing
Disliked: The Hotel doesn’t clean the room.We tried to request a room cleaning, but received the response that they can’t do it because 12 rooms requested a cleaning before us.

We had a bumpy check...
Liked: Location was nice. Just outside of all the busy. Easy drive to downtown area and other touristy spots.
Disliked: The breakfast room was in another building.

Disappointed by the facility and...
Liked: Not much except the location
Disliked: Almost everthing. Had to sleep in a freezing temperature for whole night as the heater was broken. Despite calling the staff, no help was provided. They changed the room for next night but even that room was bad. Key did not work, there was no lock on bathroom. Overall, a very disappointing stay.

Needs repairs but decent overall
Liked: It was very clean and the balcony on my room was nice
Disliked: The place definitely needs repairs. It was a nice cozy room and all, but you can see its age and the repairs that are needed.

Adequate, clean just needs some...
Liked: Looks nice, good parking, quick and easy check-in, large room. Room was worn (water damage to ceilings, shower tile broken in many places, lots of rough wall patching) but it was clean.
Disliked: Upstairs room that required dragging suitcases a distance across rough wooden boards after up three stairs areas was difficult (would’ve been nice to have another option since the hotel was nearly empty), there were 7 little bugs on walls/ceiling that creeped us out, door to the balcony was locked after they told my kids it was a great balcony and they’d enjoy it.
