Very pleased with the stay.
Liked: Breakfast was amazing. You get many selections and you can eat as much as you can. Room was sparkling clean and spacious enough for good rest after long flights. Location wise, it’s near to Trindade metro station which can easily bring you to many places - the airport and Campanhã bus station; but of course Porto to small enough to explore by foot. It is near to the main attractions too; we had ample time to walk back to the hotel to get a quick afternoon nap after a whole morning exploration to counter the jet lag too.
Disliked: Nothing much…

Fabulous boutique property with a...
Liked: We loved everything about this very special hotel in Porto. The room was exceptional. It was spotless and had a minimalistic feel, which I loved. It is an oasis in the city. The staff was amazing. They always went out of the way to answer our questions and they helped me figure out how to change a train ticket I had. I would like to go back and live in this hotel as a little studio apartment.I like the fact that it was close to public transportation, but also very quiet and had a real neighborhood feel to the location. If you are the kind person that likes to be in the center of nightlife this would not be the place for you. But, you can always go to the center of the city and come back for a lovely quiet sleep in very comfortable beds!
Disliked: I liked everything!

Beautiful hotel with wonderful staff
Liked: The hotel staff were superb from the moment we arrived until the time we left. So friendly and helpful. The interior of the hotel is stunning with the original stone walls being a particularly beautiful feature. Our room was very big and had a comfortable bed plus a huge sofa in the lounge area. We had a lovely big balcony with seating which was great for enjoying some sun.We thought that breakfast was excellent and good value, again the staff were wonderful and looked after us well. The location is convenient for all city attractions although I was glad we had a garden facing room. A city facing room would have been a little noisy. We enjoyed using the hot tub and steam room in the garden space area, this was all well maintained and a lovely chance to relax in between city activities.
Disliked: In our room there was a small wardrobe but no other storage for clothes and personal items. This was surprising as the room was so big. A chest of drawers would have been very useful. The television was on the wall at a right angle to the bed, I felt it would have been more practical to either have it in front of the bed or in the lounge area.

Good
Liked: The hotel room itself was beautiful and well situated. Really enjoyed the space and design of the room.A couple of things - the shower water didn't stay hot for 2 people, had to wait in between for it to heat back up again. Breakfast also wasn't our favourite experience, it's table service and there were 2 other tables ordering but we had to wait a while for them to finalise other tables before being given a menu or even greeted.

An oasis of luxurious calm...
Liked: Perfectly located for us at the top of central Porto with easy access to the best restaurants, bars, shops et al. Lovely, comfortable room with some simple cooking / reheating facilities and a fridge - and a nice selection of quality teas and coffee pods plus glass bottles of water. The beautifully designed garden access was lovely to have (even in the rain) and offered a feeling of extra space and access. The sauna and treatment rooms were a real treat, managed very well and the massages were top quality! And the breakfast was fantastic - we weren't able to sample the dinner menu, unfortunately. All in all a super place to stay for a special occasion.
Disliked: There was nothing to dislike.
