Liked: Location Location Location! Rooms are spacious, good views at least from our room.
Disliked: The Bar needs to be open! Very limited hours. The hotel is quite old and that means great size rooms and foyer area however perhaps just the bathrooms could use a refurb!

We were there for a...

Liked: The location was excellent, and within walking distance to the function we were attending. The lobby area is very spacious and well presented, plenty of room to wait for friends or pickups. The breakfast was good. Rooftop pool area was good with fantastic views.
Disliked: The rooms could do with a bit of TLC, looking very tired and need of an update. The breakfast area could also be given a bit of an update; however, it was still serviceable. The person who was on checkout when we left could not answer some the questions we asked when we were going to be overcharged by $120 for breakfast on the one day that we had it, nor could a receipt be printed for us, information had to be asked of the Manager to do this.

Liked: The location was key. We wanted to be walking distance to the overseas passenger terminal and it definitely was !
Disliked: Silly thing but the carpet from lift to room was rippled and made it hard to push or pull a suitcase on their roller wheels.

What was expected - Good.

Liked: The hotel position was good.
Disliked: Our room was on the back side of the building. It was so small! The hallway was dark. The bathroom was so small 2 people couldn't be in there at the same time. There was a long black hair stuck to the bathroom wall. There was a pile of dirt, etc, behind the bathroom door. The bath was so small only a child could use it! The shower head barely worked. The tv remote didn't work properly. The pillows were terrible. The cupboard door fell off when I opened it. The parking was $75 overnight! The staff at reception were not even interested when I tried to tell them about the issues.
