Liked: The bed was very comfortable and it was in a good location.
Disliked: The room was overpriced and quite outdated. The shower was very poor pressure

This is a great location....

Liked: Great location. Make sure to get a room with water view. Staff was very friendly. Many restaurants around the hotel. Café restaurant across the hotel, great chai latte there. Pool was great. Beach 20 minute walk.
Disliked: 1. No microwave in the room. Need to change that.2. In our room we had a jacuzzi tub. Not sure who installed the tub, but when when you shower, the water surrounding the tub drains on the floor.

Overpriced for the quality.

Disliked: Rooms need upgrading- dated furnishings and fixtures.Pillows were rock solid, in-bath shower with curtain was disappointing, & tea and coffee amenities suit a 2-star motor inn at most.A pricey $30 valet wasn’t clear on booking, only alternative was dodgey kerbside spots if lucky or 2-4hr meter parks 5-10 min walk up the street.Expected much much better for the exorbitant price paid for one night.
