Liked: The location and the pool/slide were the highlight of my stay.
Disliked: Reception and room service were not responsive when I tried to call multiple times. I had to walk to the reception area to place a breakfast order, even then the order was not fast tracked. The order took over an hour to arrive, but the food was delicious. The two rooms that I booked were overpriced with room 031 had a leaking tap that drenched the coffee/tea tray.

Liked: Really like the Mini bar at the room with all the drinks we need instead of bringing our own and the harbour view was great

Liked: Brilliant location. All rooms have views of Newcastle harbour which is great.
Disliked: It is very dated , but it’s fine as this is reflected in good rates for a premium location.

Staff training needs updating on...

Liked: Breakfast was organised chaos on Christmas Day we ordered coffee as asked before we were given our table, we ordered our choice of eggs fried and poached but the staff were so unorganised like headless chickens didn't know where to deliver the eggs too when the orders came out?? We had eaten our breakfast and still were waiting for our coffees. So understaffed would have been better having a coffee machine to self serve like in other hotels. Food has not been good we ordered fish tacos another day no tacos left so they never gave us option they just sent fish gougons out on Nann bread x 3 omg it was awful. Needs addressing
Disliked: Our pillows had an awful smell on them and we were quite disappointed that the same bedding was on for the whole week of our stay, covers pulled up and bottom sheets left crumpled that's not good for what we paid to stay for the Christmas week. Needs addressing also
