Clean and super friendly staff

Liked: The staff were super friendly, attentive and helpful. They made the check-in/check-out process very easy. I also found the room and facilities very clean. Will absolutely be staying there again.
Disliked: There wasn't really anything I didn't like.

the good and bad of...

Liked: it was convenient when I was attending the conference. convenient distance to walk to conference venue
Disliked: I stayed after the conference and had a friend share my room which had 2 double beds. I attended the front desk around 8am thursday morning to advise friend arriving, her details and booking a car spot. when my friend arrived at 2am, there were no notes and they wouldnt let her up to the room, she called me from front reception and I came down in my pjs and approved her and then we parked the car and went to the room. the following day, my bed was made and hers wasnt even though it was obvious she had slept in it. cleaners never vaccummed the room or bathroom. the last day we were left with a pile at least 6 clean towels, which we left unused. Lastly when I received an invoice I had been charged double for car parking which I am now waiting for a refund. Simple little things which would of made my stay very comfortable!!

Liked: Great Location and the rooms were quite large and comfortable.
Disliked: The check in is self service , There is no real traditional front office reception area, no cafe or food facilities exist within the hotel, to purchase anything, asked for a toothpaste set, they don't have any, only 1 small hand soap as guests amenities.

Disliked: Darwin is a very warm/hot location and it’s imperative that you drink plenty of water/fluids but the room didn’t provide any form of this in either 2 bottles of cold water or a jug with water in the fridge If provided would have raised your rating Cost of parking was an issue- we chose not to use your place TV and services like Netflix etc - for the $ paid we would have expected them to be provided in the accommodation cost and not provide your own service
